Example: Making mobile telephones convenient and fun
Using a GPS adapter for a mobile telephone, users can record and send their current locations. Small enough to carry in one’s pocket, this GPS adapter connected to a mobile telephone opens up new dimensions in outdoor living—conduct your own biking and fishing tours!
With high-res camera-equipped mobile telephones loaded with an I-O DATA memory card, you can print photos taken on your mobile telephone on a PC printer or at a convenience store. Simply back up your data onto the memory card, then print the photos at the corner store, or make stickers. I-O DATA partnered with Banpresto to develop products that add designs from Gundam, a hugely popular animated character, to USB flash modules. Noise testing
I-O DATA tests all its products in an electro-magnetic darkroom to ensure that the noise they generate is within standard limits. We also confirm that our products do not interfere with radio and TV reception.
Environmental testing
We confirm that I-O DATA products run correctly even under fluctuating conditions of temperature and humidity. Using a thermostatic chamber, we check our products under environments much more punishing than normal conditions.
Testing of displays
The colors produced by the LCD display are measured and adjusted to make for the most faithful color reproduction. Every I-O DATA LCD panel is adjusted to produce colors uniformly.
