This product is directly connected but the setup screen for this product is not displayed. |
| Cause |
The connection is incorrect. |
| Solution |
Make sure that power supply of this product is turned on ([POWER] LED is illuminated), and that cable is connected to LAN ([ACT/LINK] LED at the back is illuminated or flashing.).

Make sure also that the indicator LEDs on the LAN port on the computer or the hub side to which this product is connected are illuminated or flashing. |

| Cause |
The IP address settings on this product and the Mac do not match. |
| Solution |
In order to directly connect the Mac to this product and open up the setup screen, do the following set up; | 1 | Check the [STATUS] LED on this product. | | > |

| | The IP address of this product has been set as 192.168.0.200.
Set the IP address of the computer to 192.168.0.xxx. For instructions on the setup procedure see section 2 below.

| | The IP address of this product has been assigned the value that was set in the set up screen.
Set up the IP address of the computer to match the IP address that was set up for this product. For instructions on the setup procedure see section 2 below.

Set the IP address on the computer with the same segment address on this product.

| Cause |
Operation is restricted by security-related software. |
| Solution |
Sometimes the firewall function of security-related software may restrict operation.
When this happens try disabling the firewall function temporarily when setting up this product or changing the setting so that the software of this product is unaffected by firewall.
Consult the security-related software vendor about settings relating to the firewall function. |

| Cause |
The IP address that was set up for this product previously is wrong or not properly set up. |
| Solution |
Restore the IP address of this product to factory default(192.168.0.200) with the reset button.

After restoring the IP address to factory default, re-set up the IP address of this product from the beginning.

| Cause |
The web browser is set up to connect to the Internet through proxy. |
| Solution |
If the browser has been set up to use a proxy server, the setup screen of this product will be unavailable. Set up the browser so as not to use a proxy server.
