Click [Start] and right-click [My Network Places], then click [Search for computers].

If [My Network Places] is not displayed, then follow the steps below.
1. Click [Start] -[Search].
2. When the message "What do you want to search for?" is displayed, click [Computer or people].

When the message "What are you looking for?" is displayed, click [A computer on the network].

Enter "hdl-gxw" in [Computer Name] and click the [Search] button.

Double-click "HDL-GXW series (hdl-gxw)" once it is searched.

* The display differs depending on the setting in Windows.

2 copies of this product are found when there should only be 1!

In some cases two HDL-GXWs may be found when search is carried out by using a computer name of this product in Windows XP.
In this case, double-click any of the two HDL-GXWs.


This is a result of the firmware specifications used by this product.


The "HDL-GXW series (Hdl-gxw)" is not found!

Double-click [disk] folder.

About [disk] folder

When this product is shipped, a [disk] folder is included as shown above.
This is a shared folder that can be shared by all users who can access this product via network.

All users can read from and write to this folder, and share all files written.

Files can be written onto the [disk] folder displayed.
Files written onto this folder can be shared by other users.

 

When the [disk] folder window is displayed normally, it can then be used as a shared folder.
