EasySaver4 is an application that can easily backup data file, even when the data is damaged.

Main functions include the following.

  1. "Full backup"
    Regularly backup all folders or files of backup target.
    If, part of the backed up data is damaged, damage can be limited to a minimum, however, this function needs more disc space than others.

  2. "Differential backup"
    Only backup files that had been changed since the previous backup in the folder or file of backup target.
    Only backup changed items, so this function is faster than full backup, and needs less disc space.

  3. "Schedule function"
    For previously registered backup target to follow preset schedule, automatically backup on designated days/intervals.
    Once schedule is registered, there is no need to remember to perform backup afterwards, all backups will be carried out accurately.

  4. "Automatical backup"
    When backup target folder/file has been changed, automatically perform backup.

    * This function is not available on EasySaver4 LE.

  5. "Auto backup media"
    When the media is inserted into the drive, registered backup target will automatically perform backup, this 'Auto backup media' can be created.

    * This function is not available in EasySaver4 Pro, EasySaver4 LE.

  6. "Backup job password lock"
    Set password for backup job, to prevent others to view/restore or change settings of backup data.

  7. "Compression of backup data"
    Compress and save backup data.
    Decrease size of backup data, allows disc space to be used more effectively.

    * This function is not available in EasySaver4 LE.

  8. "Separate and save backup data"
    When backup data cannot be saved on one disc, it can be divided and backed up on multiple discs.
    * This function works when 'Full backup' is selected.

  9. "Generation management function of backup data"
    Generation number of backup data in backup destination can be set.
    Generations of backup data before the set generation will be deleted, saves space in backup data storage.

    * This function is not available for EasySaver4 LE.

  10. "Backup history management function"
    Backup data is managed with dates when backup was performed, so when restoring data, you can select days when backup was performed in the past and recover to the state on that day.

  11. "Limited simulaneous number of backups"
    Number of backup jobs running in the network at the same time can be limied. This way, network will not be overloaded.
    *Only network administrator can perform this setting.

    * This function is only available for EasySaver4 Pro.

  12. "Check for empty space"
    When backing up onto network drive, by communicating with EasySaver 4 Pro backing up to the same network, exactly available space can be calculated.

    * This function is only available for EasySaver4 Pro.

  13. "Limit backup data transfer speed"
    When backing up onto a network drive, data transfer speed can be limited. This way, the network will not overload.
    *Only network administrator can perform this setting.

    * This function is only available for EasySaver4 Pro.

  14. "Fix backup destination drive"
    Backup destination drive can be fixed on any drive number.
    *Only network administrator can perform this setting.

    * This function is only available for EasySaver4 Pro.
