I would like to express my sympathies to those who have been affected by COVID-19 infections, give my heartfelt gratitude and respect to all the medical personnel and those who support our social infrastructure. We are proceeding with the safety of our customers, business partners, and employees as our top priority. The current global shortage of semiconductors and LCD panels has caused a sharp rise in component prices and disruptions in the supply chain. We continue to be careful about managing supply, demand, and earnings.

Under these circumstances, our latest fiscal year's net sales posted a slight rise but with a decrease in profit. However, we are confident that we have made steady progress in supplying products to customers in need and in developing proposals that meet the needs of the times like: mobile monitors which won't mess your living room, tools that stage online meetings, interactive whiteboards and large monitors installed in schools along with devices for every student. In addition, we got into the healthcare field by developing devices that help to scan Individual Number Cards as health insurance cards, which its usage started in Japan, October 2021.

Although it is difficult to predict the future, there is no doubt that the digitalization of society is increasing its speed. The way of user interfaces will keep on changing. More comfortable, convenient, and interesting…… I-O DATA will always aim to develop proposals that will please our customers.
